Thomas went swimming for his first time

DP & I took Thomas to the swimming baths today & went in the baby & toddler pool. He loved it - thank goodness, I was really worried. I'm not confident in the water & I don't want him to be the same. But it was great & he loved playing with the ball. We even "dunked him" a few times & it didn't seem to phase him. We were trying to teach him to get ready for it by holding our breath etc, I know he won't know yet but hopefully if we keep doing it he will learn.

Can't wait to take him to Tadpole splash in the week.

Isn ... lovely taking them swimming for the first time? We took our Thomas when he was 4 months old, and he loved it too! Want to enrol him in lessons soon, and am taking him again next week with a friend and her baby. I wasn't as brave as you, and didn't dunk him, but think I might give it a go next week! Is Tadpole Splash lessons?

Better dash, only popped on for a bit in the X factor break! lol.
