Lukas not sleeping very well. any ideas?

Evening ladies,
Lukas is 13month and at the moment is cutting his molars and has a viral thing going..well so I think.
The thing is..Lukas hasnt slept for about week now. Waking every few hrs crying and some times in distress. Besides wearing my hubby and I out, poor Lukas looks shattered. He is having extra sleeps but I dont know what to do to help him. He seems to cry, thrash about the cot for a moment or two and then fart. I have tried baby drugs for the pain and fever and gripe water for the wind, but is there any thing else I can try???

Hope your well
Huge Hugs
Mrs Moo xx

I feel your pain lol

my daughter gets this problem alot as she has a really sensitive tummy so anytime she eats something that doesnt agree with her we have a rough night of her twisting and turning and generally griping... if i can see the signs early enough this is what i do. generally if i can get her to do a number two before bedtime it really helps:
1) fennel tea. she has a bit before and after her dinner as warm as she can take it.
2) fruit half an hour before meals to help digestion preferably mango, pineapple or dried apricots
3)lots of water and fibre in her diet and a high fibre snack an hour or so before bed
when he wakes up in pain get him upright against you to help the wind to go down.... massage his tummy and maybe try a warm hot water bottle on his tummy.
that's all i can think of for now hope it helps

Sorry....

Not got any advice I'm afraid but just wanted to say hi, was wondering a little while back where you had got to! good to see you on again, even if it's griefy times bless you all

Alright moo

Where tf you been? I was worried.

Do you think it is wind that's bothering him? Francis got lactulose prescribed y'day. Had him at the doc and the out of hours on Sunday as he seemed to have an awful pain in his abdomen which seemed to be wind I thought. He was getting relief from the same positons used when they are tiny like being on my shoulder with breast pressed into his tum.

I'm not sure what else to do to help. Nice to see you again though.

Wow

It's been a long time since I've seen you online, I know we all say we can't believe how quick the time goes, but really, Lukas is really 13 months??????
Unbelievable! He looks adorable on the tractor on your profile! Really, really adorable!

Well just saying hello really as I'm afraid I don't have any advice for his wind or teething pains, Eleanor, thank goodness as never really suffered with wind, and whilst she has almost all her teeth she doesn't suffer too much with the pain of them cutting through, she has really bad poops when teething and rosy red cheeks.

I hope you get some good advice, great to see your name pop up.
