My partner mark

Hello All,

Hope you all had a good day.

Well Mark had his bone marrow biopsy today. He was everso brave, he had a local anthesetic and gas and air but I think it was painful and he said it was like a corkscrew going into his bone and bless him he could not stop shaking afterwards. He has been on the sofa all day today resting and playing on his PS3 and I have been with Emily and normally Mark takes over approx 5.30pm and does the evening, the nappy changes and the bedtime drink but i did it today so I feel knackered. I decided to plonk Emily in the bath so she could have a splash about which was a good move - she is in bed now...

We get the results in approx 2-3 weeks time but it was sad to see lots of men over 70 in the ward having blood tranfusions to top up their red blood cells coz their bodies don't produce enough anymore and I pray that Mark does not have to do the same....

Anyway, Emily is fine, cold nearly gone and she is 8 months old on Sunday and Mark has his Birthday on Friday so plenty to celebrate coming up.

The only worry on my mind is my job - still no news if i have a job to go back to on 26th........................ please everyone keep their fingers crossed for me.

Hope all is well and LO are behaving!!

Lots of love

Ouch

I had a liver biopsy done and I went into shock with the pain and couldn't speak for a while even to tell them the pain scale. But into the bone, now that's got to be x 100 worse. Poor Mark

Good Luck for job front

Hey

yep, apparently it was painful and he was on gas and air and felt a corkscrew motion going into his bone = eekk!

all done now, just feels a bit sore and yesterday was a bit mad for me looking after Mark and Emily - much better now though

spoke to my boss tonight, yes I have a job to come back to, but for how long, who knows but he has said it may be best to get my cv sorted - so if anyone in the Hampshire area wants a top pa or administrator (part time) then I am your gal!

You told me

that your biopsy was a piece of cake and not to worry about mine!!! You lying so and so !!!

Hun - hope it will all work out for both of you! Crossing fingers and toes.

Lol

First line was meant for Jen!!!

Hey

Poor Mark having to go through that.
Hopefully you will get some good news coming your way.

Hope you hear from your work place soon too, its not fair to keep you hanging.
Enjoy your celebrations that are coming up, and happy birthday to Mark.

Lots of love

Hiya

Poor Mark for having to go thru that and poor you for having to watch, it's not nice to see our loved ones have to go thru something painful. Fingers crossed that everything is ok.

Sam was 8 months yesterday...madness! Really cannot believe it that our bumps are now beautiful mini people!

When will you hear about work, my fingers are crossed for that too, hope you hear soon.

Did you see your mum and dad?

Hey....

I went thru childbirth so he has to suffer too - lol - no seriously they didn't let me in for the 'procedure'.... He is okay now, he is watching the football - England are playing...

It is mad to think we were on here talking about our bumps and now they are little people causing havoc!! Happy 8 Months Sam xxxxxxx

Spoke to someone tonight re work, apparently I am on the headcount sheets going forward so that is positive, being a girlie at home, someone has spent some cash online for new work clothes so I hope I get a chance to wear them - keep you posted !!

Yep, Mum and Dad down yesterday from 11 til 3 - was good actually - Emily was a little angel although before she was soo grissily, think she is teething so I popped bonjela on her gums but that did not work so I used Ashton and Parsons and she was fine after that - happy days.......

We are off to Emily's nursery tomorrow to settle her in and chat about her routine and feeding then she is getting weighed in the afternoon!!

Have a good evening!

Natalie & Emily xxxx
