My exciting time in asda...

Hiya ladies and bumps!

I will try make this quick as I don't wanna waffle on lol
Well all day tues (13th) i was feeling really ikky, was throwing up most the day. Daisys friend came for tea and I ended up in abit of an argument with her mum as she didn't come collect her until half 9 So i got rather stressed out! The next morning I woke up at 10 and went to Asda with Liam and Daisy to do some last min shopping and to buy nappies etc for new baby, I felt really good.. until at 10.45... SPLOSH my waters broke everywhere!! I cried haha Daisy thought it was hillarious and told everybody at pre-school I had wet my pants in asda!!
This lovely lady took me in the back area and got me a towel etc to clean myself up Liam got in a panic and wanted me to go to hospital but I was insisting on going home to shave me legs!
We dropped Daisy off at my mums so she could take her to afternoon pre-school.
Got home and had a bath, I started having contractions at about 11.20 ish - thought i'd better time them then realised they were coming every 5 mins
We drove to hospital, got there at 11.40 ish.. i was having regular contractions so I got onto a bed, they put a monitor on me to check baby and contractions, did my bp etc. Mw decided to check me, so I changed into a gown, she had a look then said Oh my god your 9cm dilated This point (11.50am) I was struggling to talk through contractions so I had one puff of gas and air which made me giggle ! then i had urge to push. First push and his head came, the second push and Jack Mckenzie Sutcliffe was out in the world at 12.01pm weighing 7lb exactly! Born 2 weeks + 3 days early! I was home for 6pm that night!

He is gorgeous! We are absolutly over the moon with him. Daisy came to see him after school with my dad and she was soooo excited! She can't quite believe he's here lol.
He is a gem, he slept from 9pm til 7am on his first night I will upload pics now, those that have my facebook I have already added some photos. Those that want to add me - Kirsti Holt.

I'm in shock that he came SO quick! I had no signs that he was on his way at ALL. It was a lovely birth, it was quick and I managed on 2 paracetamol and one puff of gas and air.
I got everything in my trolley free apart from clothes and dvds. Which was great as I had almost finished shopping I also got lots of vouchers and goodies So those that are about to pop... Camp out in Asda

Hope the rest of the October mums pop soon and have speedy pain free births like me! Hey I was the last in the October club and I beat you all ( I wasn't due until halloween!) hehehe

Love to you all

Kirsty, Daisy (3) and Jack 1 day old

As I was reading I was thinking "ooh, I wonder if she got free nappies?" !!!!

You never really see or hear of people's waters going in supermarkets either, even though I think we all dread it, but bless you - you are proof that it DOES happen!! hehe!

Laughed at you nipping home to shave your legs too, brilliant!!

Sooo pleased that you had a great birth hun. I've heard that people who's waters break in Asda & Teso's etc get free nappie for the next year or so.
