Had my beautiful baby girl!

Hello everyone!

I gave birth to Teagan Amelia on Fri 9th Oct at 00:51, weighing 7lbs 2oz, after a very short 4.5hour labour!

I was 6 days overdue and had a sweep, midwife said I was looking really favourable for labour, so that eve I had a curry and went to the shop to buy a pineapple for pudding to help things along, however halfway through my curry I started getting pressure in my bum and lower back, had been getting these the last week or so so didn't think too much of it, 15 mins later another, 10 mins later another and 8 mons later anoother, each time getting slightly stronger. Rang hosp to say I think I may be in labour and that I would like to be check to see (as I went from 3cm dialated to fully dialated in 10 mins with my first daughter and was told to go in at 1st twinge this time to be checked.) Rang my parents to get them to come babysit. Parents arrived 30 mins later and they were definately contractions by then, coming every 3 mins.

Got to hospital and was checked, was 3cm dialated, had an hour in delivery suit then decided to get in the pool, had an hour in there then wanted out again. Shortly after getting dry, dressed and back in delivery room wanted to push, my waters went on first push, head out on second and the rest on third push.

We came home at 12pm on fri and are settling into normal life nicely. Avilee (21 months) is besotted with her new baby sister and is being brilliant!
