Routines

please can anyone share their feeding routines with me as i feel that Ben is having to much food at one go. he is now 6 months old and this is his current routine

7.30 - 7.45 wake
8.00 Baby cerial made with his milk and remainder of an 8 oz bottle
12.00 8 oz bottle and a lrg quantity of liquidised food
4.00 8 0z bottle
5.00 tea and pudding
7.30 only takes 4 oz bottle and bed - cant stay awake any later

how do other people do a routine of milk and food. I feel he has alot around 12 o clock if he dosent get his bottles he gets really upset. Ben has a milk intollerance so i cant give him snacks such as yoghurts

Thanks Jodie and a greedy Ben xx

How are you and Ben doin now,

Ellis's routine is:

Wake around 7.30am baby porridge made with either his milk or water depending on instructions followed by a bottle which varies between 4-7oz

Then has a nap so about 11am he will have an 8oz bottle maybe take about 6-7oz

Has dinner around 12.30pm about half a baby jar followed by a few spoonfulls of puddin an a drink of juice

Has another nap in the afternoon then a bottle around 3.30pm again varies between 6-8oz

Then around 5.30ish the rest of the baby jar and a few spoonfulls of puddin with a drink

then about 7.30-8pm bottle an bed..

i used to give Ellis dinner followed wiv a bottle of milk but found he wouldn't really have much bottle thats why i tried giving him his bottle an dinner at different times..

Hi hun

Here's mine but never sure if i'm doing the right thing either ...

7am - wake and have porridge made with milk and around 3 oz bottle
10ish - 4oz bottle ( only takes 2 oz )
12 - equivalent of 2 small jars 1 savoury 1 sweet ( do cook my own too lol )
2 ish - 4oz bottle ( only takes 2 oz )
4pm - equivalent of 2 small jars 1 savoury 1 sweet ( do cook my own too lol )
6pm - 6oz bottle and bed
10pm - 6oz dream feed

Athough yesterday started to replace mid morning snack bottle with small amount of toast and a yoghurt and he seemed to enjoy this.

Dylan seems to favour his solids and is starting to refuse milk and i never know if he's old enough now just to have bottles morning and bedtime or to persevere (sp) with small bottles through the day ??

Sounds like Ben is feeding well and if he sleeps well too he's probably getting all he needs

t care
