Electric toothbrushes

Hey girls.

Just wondering how old little ones have to be to use a electric toothbrush? Or the sonicare toothbrush?

I was thinking of getting Olivia one for xmas but not sure if shes old enough. She turns 2 on 27th Dec.

On the odd occasion one has caught my eye in the shop it always seemed to be from age 3....... so I mentioned the same question to my dentist & he said as long as she's surpervised then it would be fine to get one for my daughter who has just turned 2........ so Santa is planning to bring her one this year!
