3 months today!

Hi everyone!

I just have to shout about this because I am soo happy- Calum has had extremely bad colic and reflux (you might have seen my posts) well I think we have won the war. Last Friday was the last screaming match we had and he is soo much more settled. Sleeping from about 10pm to between 6-8am! Even during the day he is managing to sleep more- which means that I have been able to do things this week!! Woo hoo!!!!!

Calum is now taking 7oz and totally finnishing his bottle- where as before he would only take a few ozs and it would take me forever and a day to feed him. Yesterday he had 4 full bottles during the day- I offered another bottle about 9pm last night but he only took 2oz's went to sleep and that was him till almost 8am this morning!

What a relief- I have been soo stressed the past 3months- now I can enjoy my baby 100%

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Hey

Its great when things start getting better isnt it? Megan suffered from oral thrush, a cold, colic, reflux and constipation in the first 12 weeks, i enjoyed her but couldnt enjoy her fully.

She still has bad moments with reflux but i took her off all medication as i was fed up of docs trying to fob me off, but overall she is a lot happier and we have so much fun, its amazing how quick they change and all the new things they see and do is amazing.

Glad things are getting better for you and your enjoying Calum a lot more

Nat and Megan xxxx

Thanks guys,

What a huge difference and yeah it's great I feel like I enjoy Calum alot more now- before he used to start crying I would just cringe wondering how long it would last for- we had a lot of screaming fits day and night- I was soo exhausted and yip it's great to get to grips with some housework too! Even just being able to get myself showered in the morning is easier.... only thing is now the health visitor thinks he might have a hernia on his belly button. Not that we have seen our own health visitor in 5wks- it was when I took him to get weighed I asked about it. How often are the HV's supposed to come and see you. The last time she was out was just before Calum was 8wks now he's 13wks+ I thought she would come out again as she knows I was struggling with the reflux and colic.

Hope your wee ones are doing well. Doesn't the time fly by? Just can't believe it's been 3mths!! Looking forward to Xmas now.

Hope you all have a good wkend! xxx

Aww

that's brilliant hun am so pleased things are looking up for you, know how hard colic is to handle, nothing worse than seeing your baby in pain and not being able to stop it for them. Makes such a difference when you're getting some decent sleep and making some headway on getting your life (and your house if you're anything like me!) back in some sort of order. Really glad you're feeling so much better and that Calum's turned the corner, happy times to come!

Love and hugs,
Clare and Kaitlyn (nearly 1, eek!) xxxx
