What is wrong?

I cant believe how Rosie is being at the moment, she doesnt seem like my little baby anymore!

She still waking at 3am and has 3oz of milk, wakes at 7am 3oz of milk...she normally goes down for a nap at 10am but i just tried to put her down and is screaming with tears i checked temp which was fine and she doesnt feel hot so i thought well i will try her on milk so she has just drank another 3oz and is asleep, hopefully when she wakes she'll have the rest. Do you reacon it might be the teats? im on Number 2 dr.brown and its number 3 for 6months+

Also could this be a sign that she is not ready for weaning and ive done it to early? She likes the food though its only 5-6spoonfulls but I really dont know what is wrong, because she is stimulated alot as we've learnt she does get bored quickly, were not in all day as i have to walk the dog or go to my mums or see friends.

I was going to move her up on hungerier baby milk cow and gate but alot of people have advised against this, even if i google it alot of people do not recommend it. She used to be on 4bottles of 8oz and slept 12hrs a night but now she takes 6bottles of various amounts usally between 3 - 8oz and wakes in night

She plays alot in the day with toys, books, loves watching the dogs play, we go out for walks, shopping, round my mums, seeing friends and she is well stimulated but i feel like she isnt happy enough with it all?

Its really getting me down at the moment and the HV just says the same old thing "oh shes fine" and "carrying on with the weaning"

I know we all have our days but i feel as if this has gone on far to long

Moaning over...

hope u and little ones are well

Hey

Are you still using Gaviscon? if so, change the teats to number 3 or get variflow teats if they do them in the bottles you use.

With the Stage 2 milk, Megan was getting really ill off it and I realised because it was harder to get up, she was getting a lot of wind and colic was coming back so when she has her stage 2 bottle at night, she has a variflow teat and she is so much better.

Also how is she getting on with the teething? Megan has been a bit of a nightmare the last few days and realised its cos of her teeth.
Megan is also the same as Rosie, in that she gets quite bored easily, your doing enough with her though, she is getting out, seeing different people, being in diferent enviroments, i just think they all hit a bad stage.

Hope your both ok

Nat and Megan xxx

Hiya hun.
Firstly, sorry bout the rant I have PM'd u! Didnt realise u was havin a rough time.
Well I would change the teats firstly. We r on no.3 teats for thicker liquids n have been 4 a long while.
She used 2 fall asleep on bottles n wasnt interested. Once we changed teats she was better. It is hard when they change their routine. I remember it well with oldest child. So stressful n tiring.
Chin up hun, sumtimes its just a blimp. Lets hope she gets bak 2 usual.

Hello! Oh dnt worry, its just me being a bit stressed over notthing probably! i replied anyway

May go out and buy some teats today see how it goes, thinking of going back to the avent bottles as they are 9oz bottles. What thicker liquids do you use? Actually thinking about it i use gaviscon so maybe its harder for her to suck it through a no.2 teat.

Yeh fingers crossed she'll go bck to normal

Thanks xx

yep its coz the gaviscon i use the thicker liquid teats.
have done since started it as it thickens milk n she struggled. i use avent bottles. size 3 teats that say for thicker liquids. they do normal size 3 n these ones. xx

ok cheers... Will go get some now i think.
I hope everything is ok
Thnx
xx

Sorry relised i repeated myself ekk!!
