It gets easier lol
cadene has lactofree milk, yoghurt so long as it is organic and probiotic (she has rachels organic) and she can have hard cheese e.g parmesan, cheddar as the lactose is eliminated in the way it is made.... so i can make most things for her e.g macaroni cheese, homemade pizza etc.... best to try again when he's 12 months rather than risk it.. i know cadene is still lactose intolerant even now as i made beef stew on the weekend and my sister didn't check the stock cube properly it had some sort of dairy in it and she was up all night in pain crying my advice is check everything!!!!!!!!!! you prob know that already as you are intolerant.. as he gets older make sure you have snacks for him with you incase you cant find anything suitable when you're out... margarine shouldnt have dairy in it if it is a vegetable spread.. you can get loads of recipes on the annabel karmel site... at 7 months i used to give lumpy homemade purees and also give soft finger food to play with e.g very ripe banana and avocado slices just so they get used to 'real' food... you can get soya substitutes for most things cant you... cream, milk, yoghurt etc not sure about cheese...? if you want to try him with meat then you can mix it with fruit.... mrs karmel has some good recipes but i started with fish i think and made salmon pasta with a tomato sauce.. i used full size pasta cooked realy soft so cadene could hold it and eat it.. spag bol is always a favourite... umm im babbling now... let me know how you get on and if you need any recipes etc......... xxxxxxxxxx danica and cadene xxxxxxxxxxxxx
