Diets

Hey guys, I hope you are all well.

I was just wondering if any of you have started diets?? And if so, how are you getting on??

I am really depressed about my weight!! I just dont seem to be able to drop any weight!

Anyone got any suggestions??

Hey!

I am not on any diet at the moment havent really got the motavation but gonna start going to a dance keep fit sesion on a monday as my work out DVD at home is easily ignored for FB or SOFEM or HOTMAIL...LOL so once im out the door i have no excuse!

I think from past experiences that if you cut down on meal sizes and eat less crisps and chocolate then i lost quite a bit of weight but then it is easily put back on so maybe try walking atleast 20mins a day?

I was trying to lose weight before i got pregnant, i was doing natalie casadys work out video which is great! i was doing it every other day and doing sit ups, i did managed to loose a bit of weight without really changing what i ate but i think if i ate more veg, cut crisps and chocolate out i would of lost alot more.

Hope this helps??

Hi hun

I put on nearly 2+1/2st when preg. I found that in the few weeks after the birth 1st dropped off quite easily - fluid retention etc. Then it came to a standstill and for the first few months I wasn't too bothered as I'm BF and couldn't really diet. I have managed to lose another 7lbs but still got another stone to go - I'm usually a size 8 (only 5'4") but now a 10-12 and get very down about my size sometimes even though I'm not massive - I'm a lot bigger that I'm used to be and really feel it !! I have found that the best way is not to weigh myself very often as it only depresses me and to try and do as much exercise as I can and tone up, and cut out junk food. I never used to have a problem with diets when working as work was such a distraction I barely had the time to eat but I find that now I am home more I have less willpower with dieting. My mum keeps telling me that when I am working again it will all fall off - I hope so!! I have a friend who swears by Weight Watchers, she is currently doing it and has lost over a stone in the last 7 weeks so I think I'm going to give that a go as I think it will give me a bit of motivation.

Do u have a WII? Its just my mate has the WII fit board n swears by it.
She uses it a few times a week n saves time n money as u can do it at hm!
She has toned up n it has helped her along with no junk food diet!
Worth a try if u have a WII! Maybe a christmas box!
Cant say Iv tried owt really. I eat the totally wrong stuff so thats my problem.
Good luck hun, not much help I know!
