Removing nappies and nakedness... i need help ladies

i need help lol

Elliot is now 17 months old and over the past week or so there have been numerous times when me or my partner have gone into his room to get him up from a nap or in the mornings to find him compleatly naked (nappie included). Now the clothes thing im proud he can do as the next step will be to try and teach him how to get his clothes on.

The nappie thing is something i didnt think id have to be dealing with untill potty training which i was thinking if starting to do at 20 months or even later. He is now even trying to get it off during the day and we are having to keep stopping him. What should i do? i dont know wether to try easy up pants on him or but underpants and put them on over the top of his normal nappie... im compleatly clueless.

up untill now he hadnt wee'd in his cot but this morning he wee'd but then got upset about it as it went all over a teddy he sleeps with and my partner laughed and said teddy was going to have to have a bath. i want to avoid washing bed stuff on a daily basis so help would be really appreciated/

Hey

Olivia does the same with the nappies so we have to always put shorts over the top so she cant remove them. I try to leave her without her nappy on & keep asking her if she wants a wee in the potty. She has done it a few times.
It sounds to me as if hes telling you gets getting ready to use the potty.
Maybe encourage it abit when you can? It could be just a phase & will quickly grow out of it.

I hope this helps
