From cot to a bed

hey its me again i was wondering when to put carys in her own bed? i put all my others in a bed at around 18months but that was a gd few years ago lol was going to do the same with carys??

I was thinking of putting Mickey into a bed around Xmas time, he'll be 17 months. I am putting him into bottom bunk in Jack's room.

He has been getting into it in day but no sleeps in it yet.

well i put oliver in a bed a couple of months ago. in an ideal world i would have taken the sides off his cot first and got him used to that, and then moved him to a big bed, but emilie was growing out of the moses basket and i didnt want to have to fork out for another cot for a short period, so i moved oliver into a bed and emilie has the cotbed. his bed is the top half of a set of bunks so has rails all the way round, so he cant fall out. he loves it he has only fallen out once and that is when he was trying to reach his snuggly rabbit that he doesnt/cant/wont sleep without and he fell on his head! think it has taught him not to lean over the sides tho and he has been fine since.
