Going back to work

I have a meeting next week with my boss about going back to work, i really hope i get the hours i am going to suggest so fingers crossed but is it a cheek to ask for a payrise at the same time? As since ive been away, actually 3weeks after i left for maternity all office staff got a pay increase so i would like one 2 when i go back in February! Or shell i leave it for another day to ask him?

Work....

hey

seems like only yesterday we were all counting the days left of work and now we're think about going back its all going way too fast!
I actually started crying the other day when OH and i discussed me going back cos i'm prob gonna have to do more hrs than i originally wanted to...booooo! most annoyingly my main boss is off work at the mo and didnt bother sorting out my return to work before she went off-and she wont be back now til Jan! I'm meant to be going back in March and so need to get childcare in place ASAP, i'm really p***ed off about it.

I'm in agreement with the others Lucy-you should get the payrise for sure

Hey hun

This is all going far too quickly for my liking!!

You should have been included in the pay rise, your still entitled to it. xx

I dont want to go back too work ((

Hey

Good Luck, hope you get the hours you want

i have to call my work place next week to confirm when im going to be back and what hours I want to do.
As for the payrise you should already get it when you go back.

Hi hun

No its not a cheek to ask at all ... actually if ALL the other staff got a payrise then you should already have had it too !!! They cannot exclude you because you are on maternity leave you are still classed as employed and all the usual rules apply.

Good luck and let us no how you get on
