Piccys of joe and friends have had some terrible news!!

Hey ladies hope your all well!

Well I have finally got round to puttin pics of Joe on here so feel free to have a look.

Anyway more seriously...

Our friends little boy Finley was born three weeks early on the 26th September, and we thought all was well.

We had a message on saturday to say that he had been taken into Birmingham Childrens hospital, and the have found out that he has cancer!! They have found a lump on his liver and that is the source. They are treating him with chemo but that's as much as we know at the moment.

I am totally devastated for them, he is only 6 days older than Joe, and I can't even comprehend how they are feeling. I have done nothing but mill it over in my head the last few days, and have thought about how we would feel if it was us!

I have no idea what to do or say to them. I feel like I should send them a card to let them know we are thinging about them, what do you think?

Your ideas would be very appreciated ladies!!

Thanks ladies!

Well good news is that he only has a mild case and they are very hopeful!! So that's really good news.

I'm off to go and buy him a card and bear today. Hopefully they won't mind x

Hey alex,

aw hun Joe is gorgeous! They're lovely pics you must be very proud of him he really is beautiful. Your poor friends, really hope Finley will be ok, Birmingham Childrens Hospital are wonderful though so he's in the best hands. I would send a card and maybe a little teddy or something, it can mean the world to know people are thinking of you when you're going through something this awful. Know just what you mean about putting yourself in their shoes too, we have friends with a little boy a few months older than Kaitlyn, he had meningitis when he was only a few days old and it's left him severely disabled, he's a gorgeous little lad but it makes me feel so lucky (and then so guilty the next second for feeling like that) that Kaitlyn is well and happy. Think we all know how you're feeling hun,

big hugs,
Clare xxxx

I think a card will be a great idea, it lets them know that your thinking of them, with out intruding!!! Maybe even a little something for their little boy???
Lets hope the chemo works!!!
Take care,
xxx.
