What does everybody think about the celebs using only natural wax candles only around babies?

I've just been reading an article where the model Heidi Klum says that she only uses I Conjure Candles because Natural Wax and Pure Essential Oils are much better to use around babies because Petroleum Wax candles are toxic and can damage babies lungs. I adore scented candles and have been using them around my two year old son since he was born. Now i'm worried sick.
What does everybody else think?

Hey there, well I have neva heard owt on this either n have neva given it a thought!
I used 2 always burn them!!!
I am sure they wud cum with a health risk if very bad.
Im sure they r fine n have low risks. Everything out there has risks of sum sort it seems.
Im sure they r fine 2 use.

What about when there was no electricity and everywhere was candlelit???? The human race seems to have survived!!

I say don't worry at all. There are many many far greater health risks out there!!

Good question!

I occasionally use scented candles and have often wondered where the wax goes but didn't really think beyond that! I'm sure if there was a huge risk there'd be more said about it but I actually don't know for sure. Try not to worry tho and maybe ask HV?
