New mummy alert!

Hi Ladies,

Well after being on expecting forum since March I am finally here.

I had my baby girl last friday at 1.09 am, her name is Fleur Elodie and she was a tiny 6lb 4.

Just thought I would introduce myself, as the pregnancy forum has been somewhat of a life saver for me, Im sure you girls are just as good, with the reassurance needed. I am so happy, but so scared also, I just dont want to f&*k up!

Anyways hope mums and bubs are good.

Its great to know there are peeps out there in the same position, most of my friends are young, free and single! Its great to know you can have a good old whinge here!

Flo there arent any french influences in my family my OH is portugese! but I hate portugese names, French names are beatiful, your kids names are lush and unique in this country.

Bump buddy Kirsti, I thought I would never be on here, but I am and im loving it! I gave birth a day before your due date! it must be weird to reach your due date and realise that he is here!

Still got loads of visitors its lovely but its starting to knacker me out, I feel like i have to entertain and be the life and soul. Hey ho!

How are you finding mummyhood then? It's scary isn ... But don't worry as the other girlies said, we're all learning and we all make mistakes.

Huge congratulations on the birth of your daughter and welcome to the forum. I love Fleur, this is such a lovely name. Any French influence in your family? The names you picked are very French and being from France myself I always keep an eye out for other expats.
