| Thread started by: | "Bath seats fao lisa merchant ( i think) " Posted by tinalw81 5 October at 20:00
someone popped on a post a few days ago about bath seats and i said i never bothered and just let ben lay in the bath and have a good splash. Well, for the last few days (since he has been sitting by himself really well) he has been wanting to sit up in his bath and play with his toys.
i mentioned this to my mate and she gave me he old bath mat for her lo and it as a little seat built into it, well, more like a back support and a front support and i used it for the first time tonight and it is fab. ben sat there for 25 mins playing away and only came out cos i was bored lol!!! it is from mothercare and is blue with ducks on and it has a seat sort of built into it but they actually sit on the bath mat.
would really reccommend this, it saves you breaking your back trying to stop them moving all over the bath too.

Couldn't find the original post about bath seats but just wanted to say I've got one made by Summer which is to go in the big bath for babies who can't sit up themselves yet. It is only £14.99 in Mothercare and comes in either pink or blue with fish etc on it. It has two recline setting so you can choose how much the baby lies back, it dries really quickly and folds down flat so doesn't take over the whole bathroom.
My little boy loves his because you can fill the bath fairly deep so he can have a good kick. I've had some of the other bath supports that are available but this one is the best by far.
