Hi there,

Discovered a lovely bruise on hannah's arm this morning much to my horror! Then had a big think and realised it's from when she got her rattle trapped on her arm yesterday and then rolled over on top of both and had a big cry. OH made a quick dash to free her and then we forgot all about it.She's always rolling over onto her tummy on her play mat on top of toys. Took all the hard ones away today as Im now paranoid.

Just worried the HV will think I'm not looking after her properly!!!!! We're going on wed to get her weighed so I'm hoping it will go down a bit by then. HELP!

Poor little thing!!!!! Has any of you had similar happen? I started worrying that maybe she's anaemic and bruises easily? Have your babies had any bruises? It was pretty tight on her arm and solid plastic....

Any advice?

She's 24 weeks this week and we're planning to start baby led weaning at the weekend if all goes ok.

Take care,
Anne and Hannah

a permanent bruise above left eye. Been there about 7 months and varies in colour but never goes away before a fresh one arrives
My house is as baby proof as is possible but still bangs it on the floor the fridge a door a stair everywhere

I've given up explaining and dont think I'd recognise him without the bump and bruise there now.

sorry to laugh hun but its normal for babies to get little bumps and bruises! and your HV will know whats normal and not i felt really bad once my daughter rolled over and was lying slightly under my sofa i went to go move her but not quick enough and she rolled back and her foot stayed in the same position i went mad crying rushed her to A and E for dr to tut say there was nothing wrong i felt like a right loon! my 1st also fell over and put her tooth through her lip * blody hard flooring * and i felt awful so really don't worry! my eldest bruises incredibly easily like my sister whereas my 2nd is like me and doesn;t seem to at all i keep hearing about baby lead weaning let me know how you get on xx
