My little girl is 9 months and i'm currently having two problems with here the first is that she's become so clingy it's unreal i can't leave her with anyone else and most of the time that includes her dad,
if i'm in the room she must be with me and me only what can i do ???
Secondly she goes to bed at 8 every evening and has always slept till 6-6.30, then about a month ago she was poorly so sleeping pattern changed. Now over it and all better she goes to bed at the same time only has either started waking for a night feed or if not wakes at 5-5.30?? really not sure whats going on as she's eating as much as i can get down her!

Any advice on either problem would be great especially the first 1!

Thankyou Rayanne x

Hi, my son is about the same age and even though I have never had a problem with clinging, i think it might all be about safety. Do u tend to always pick her up when she starts to sook? If you do, then try to ignore her sometimes because it all comes down to attention(unless they're hungry, tired etc.)Maybe if you get the dad involved in play time as much as he can.Get him to bath her, read to her once in a while.Find ways to make her feel safe around him and other family members.OR you could try leaving her more often so she gets used to it. As for bedtime, I think it's a phase they go through. I found what works good when they wake up for a feed in the night is you don't give them a bottle of milk or else they will get used to it and wake up all the time. Just maybe give them a bit of water and tell them goodnight go to sleep. It doesn't matter if she cries. I got my boy into the routine of putting himself to sleep from just a few nights of crying his little heart out(it was awful but it had to be done).I hope i was some help. I'm sorry if it doesn't work out. The good side of it is that they eventually grow out of it, I just can't tell you when because every baby is different.
Good luck
