I am 35 weeks pregnant and i am really big, but the baby is all up front - nothing round the sides at all. Why is it everyone keeps telling me horror stories about giant babies.... i have a 4 year old daughter who was 8lb 4oz..

Can anyone abate my fears...??!! please!

hiya, i really wouldnt worry if i was you, my daughter was always said to be an above average baby, approx 10lb one midwife told me, and i got told sum terrible stories about 13 and 14lb babies and i was so relieved and quite glad to tell eveyone that she was a nice healthy 8lb 10oz, and now i`m almost 15 wk pregnant with my second baby!!

most women i kno that have had there 2nd and 3rd children have had similar birth weights ranging from 2 to about 6lbs bigger than their last, i`m sure everything will be fine and your baby will be worth it no matter what.....

take care
