hi, this is very confusing. when i lost my babies i was still giving a postive urine sample for a few week after.
when i went to the hospital they took my blood which like you showed low pregnancy hormones, they told me they were going to repeat this in a few days and if they increased it was an active pregnancy, but if they decreased further it was after my loss.
you should go back to the docs and ask them. hope i have been of some help and i hope you get the out come you are hoping for take care

Hi Katie,

I am sure everything is fine, but here are the facts as I know them.

The pregnancy hormones starts to decline when you begin miscarrying - the hormone can stay in your system for a number of weeks, i.e. you can still have a positive pregnancy test, but they are slowly declining.

This happened to me a few months back and after I had begun bleeding heavily I still had positive pregnancy tests for about 3 weeks after.

It is indeed extremely distressing and I do wish you all the best. Do not panic and assume a miscarriage until you are bleeding regularly and heavily accompanied by cramping.

I hope this was helpful. All the best x

Look i knw it is rly hard. if i wasa u i would give it a couple of days and do another one. It is pretty normal to have a low pregnancy hormone at the stage and don't worry about it. DO another one and take it from there? xxxx

iv started to bleed a couple of times as long as there was no pain and it wasnt hevy bleeding u should be ok and still pregnant bleeding can occur after sex or if youve had an internal scan also over working and stres could be factors which is what my doctor told me hope everythings okay though you should ask if they would send you for a scan just to be on the safe side
