my name is Dina and im 14 years old.
last year my best friend was pregant but she had an abortion and ive seen how it has ruined her life in so many ways!
one of my friends at school is pregant and shes 15.
a part of me really wants a baby of my own so that i could prove all my friends wrong that i could be a great mum...
me and my mum are very close and i tell her everything,but i cant tell her what i really want.
im a virgin and i would like it to stay that way until meet the right person but i know ( and its obvious) you can only get pregnant through having sex so im a bit stuck.
should i put a child or my self respect and dignity first?
please i need some advice because ive got really high ambitions so would a baby stop me achieving?
because i dont see babies as a burden...
but is that how i should look at them?

If you had a baby you would need to first have sex and if thats at high value for you i say dont do it. but if haveing a baby is more important then think of other things like the reputation you will get when people start noticing the graduating bump in your belly. and then when your about to pop you will have to take a maturnity leave off from scool. and that may mean takeing a downfall in accademics. Also the joy you prolly want out of this baby is takeing care and spending time with it. how are you supposed to bond when it needs left with a babysitter while your off to school? besides all that are you really fready for the commitment?
if youve thought of all of these things and still think your ready i say go for it.
