Days out in the summer holidays

So, what are your plans? Has anyone got any good ideas for days out in the holidays, apart from the usual Alton Towers and the American Avdenture?

Summer ideas

i am taking my 1 year old son and only niece 2 the beach. they have been so excited. we're going next week. beaches r a lot of fun 4 children that age and r fun 4 adults 2 !!!!!!

well.. wilderness hikes are a must for me. my boyfriend and his family all love to go, I've already been out with his dad and his step mom, lots of fun. And of course I'm trying to spend some time with my family as well when I'm not working. Also applying for college and doing college visits.. fun fun
