Nightmares/night terrors in my 8 yr old

Please can someone give me some advice my eight year old son has been waking up in the night with headaches, sickness and screaming fits. When i try and calm him down he talks rubbish not making sense almost like hes gone insane!! He says everythings moving the room and objects in it! It seems that they are nightmares/night terrors but why the sickness and headaches? I took him to the hospital and they said its prob the ds games or wii so i have cut them out but they want to see him in three days if no change!

Is this normal please please help im worried sick...
