hi i am lizzie and i got ma belly button done when i was bout 13 i think bout that age i am 17 now i am pregnant do i have to take it out i really dnt wanna to ? ?

i'm 13 and had my belly button pierced on the 16th of september and yesterday i decided to change my bar. i was in town with my mum and seen a playboy bunny bar and really wanted it. so my mum bought me it. i went home and put on my lotion ( which my piercer gave me ) and started takin out my bar. wen i took it out i put more of my lotion on and started putting in my new bar. first it was easy and didnt hurt. until this morning, i woke up and my belly button really hurt. when i stretch or try to sit up it hurts.


is my stomach rejectin my bar or is my navel infected ?
please give me any advice if u were in the same situation as me

you are 13 and my name is called lindsey my mam is going to get mine done to and just to give you some advice you should of waited 6 weeks then changed it and keep cleaning it and i hope to hear from you soon and keep up the good work stacey just that i had some advice to do it becuse someone in my family had it done and stil does well good bye.

you might be alergic to it
because wen i had mine done i was 13 i got a titaniam bar and my belly went green and was badly infected so i brought a real gold one for £222 and it was much better after that

A bit expensive but...

Heya, i have had my belly button peirced twice as the first time i took a reaction. i think that you really have to be care full, when changing as i got mine done aain and mine is still quite inflamed. i think you should of mabey went to the peircing shop and asked if they could of put it in or is it ready to be changed. i know alot of people that have took it far to early and caught really bad infections. i would advise you to go to your gp and they will give you antibiotics and that will keep the sweeling down and fight infection (if any) feel free to contact me at any time and i will get back to you asap.

i got mine done last month and i went to kennys in the forge retail park. he told me to use contact eye lense cleaner called saline. i clean mine everday twice a day and he told me not to take it out for ten months

i have 2 belly button piercings, one tongue, ear lobes and tragus and for all of them ive used either saline or a warm sat water mix (1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 cup of water) and ive always beenadvised to leave them in for 6 weeks before i think about changing them. I usually leave them a bit longer or go on how they look/feel e.g my tragus has been done 6 weeks but i know its not ready to be changed because its still swollen, but 10 months seems a very long time!

Im waiting now to have my tongue and tragus changed down to a smaller bar but theyre still swollen

Heyyaa Lizzie ive read bout wt you put on here if u got ur belly dun when u was 13 if u fink tht n now ur 17 n ur pregnant u need to get a plastic belly bar n put tht in n bout 1 month after u had the bby u can put ur normal 1 in n do u no anywhere in the uk where i can get my belly dun im 13 on the 14 june n on the 30th may i went to get my belly dun but they sed i cant hv it dun cz i was a little bit to small n when i grow it will cum out after 6 weeks n i sed i was 14 but i hv to wait till 6 months but i cant cz i want it dun for my b-day or befor so can u tell me if u no anywhere plz

you dont have to take it out you can get pregnancy belly bars in argos

no you dont have 2 you can get bars from argos that bend and that for when ur preagnant

you dont have to take your belly bar out as you get maternity belly bars they are long and plastic and you can cut them to the size of your belly you can get them from a market,peircing shop etc hope i have been a asssistant to you

thats wot happen to mine i could take out the bar and put new ones in so i put in a really nice pink one but at the top skin was there i moved it around and it would ent go trow so i pushed it trow now it pussie and really hurs
