hey, i found out i was pregnant a few days ago also..
the thing youve got to remember is that although it involvs both of you, you are infact already pregnant and that if you dont want to have another abortion then you shouldnt have to, so long as you are aware of the fact you may have to do it alone.
how ever much you wnat to force your other half to take responsibility with what has happened, unfortunally a lot of people wont. youve got to think deep down, what will make you happy.. what do you wnat from this. if its to go ahead with the birth then i think you must be as fair as you can to him with his wishes(depending wether you got pregnant through his and your carelesness with contraception)

I found out I was pregnant just by chance. I had a test at the ready for a mate when she said she didn't need it. I had it in my drawer for about 4 days when I just wanted to get rid of it. I decided just before I went to college to do the test so I could chuck it. I'd done tests previously as I got pregnant 3 years ago but had a termination which was down to my mum and bf as I was young at the time. I couldn't believe it when it came up positive. There were only 2 faint lines but it was still positive. My bf went all weird on me for about 2months. He didn't want to know me. Stopped having sex, never kissed or hugged me. I got so stressed out that I didn't see him for a week. That had done our relationship a world of good. It's now back to how we were when we 1st got together. We're out looking for buggys already, talking about it more, he even rubs my belly. We've been together nearly 4 years now. And yes, at 1st you or your partner may go loopy, but, give them time and they'll soon be realising that it is you that has to go through the sickness, peeing all the time and even the childbirth itself. But remember this, when you hold your baby, that little miracle that you made with someone you love you forget everything that ever happened during the pregnancy and you treasure that moment for the rest of your life. So congratulations and enjoy every minute of it. Best of luck.x

congrats!!!!!!! when i found out i was preg with my 1st my bf at the time went mental. i knew i wanted to keep it and decided not to let him change my mind. i told him to leave me too it which most men in his shoes would be happy with but he tried various things to get me to have an abortion: assault threats etc. hopefully yours wont be this extreme. i think the only way to deal with it really is to talk but you should stick to your decision and dont let anyone change your mind be strong and stand up for yourself and what you want(looking back i wish i had)hope this helps.

How cool! But sad at the same time, you know what? Keep the baby, freaking out is totally natural, so dont worry. Sounds to me like your ready to be a mum, especially when people say that they do not know what to do. Another thing, if your boyfriend tells you to get an abortion, than dont. You shouldnt anyway. Listen to what you think, and what you and only you want to do. Other wise gongrats girl! Have fun, and you'll SO enjoy being preg. Trust me. Good luck.
