It's shame you have to wait so long, just out of interest, why couldn't you adopt a baby who will be born sooner? Although I suppose these things take time.

In France it's almost impossible to adopt a baby. I mean you can have a baby but you have to wait for years ! between 4 or 5 years or more !

If you go abroad you can be selected by an association or to go on your own. It depends on the country your child will be born!

As for us, first we have to wait for documents our association has to send us (not before January because they have so much work to do ) , then we will constituate the file to be sent to China and then our file will be sent to china thanks to the association so not before March !

Once our file arrives in China we have to wait about 8 / 9 months to receive the famous phone call from our French asssociation to announce us the most beautiful news we're parents !!!!!!

At least we fly to China between 6 or 8 weeks after !

It is the same thing everywhere in the world for our children from China !
