Hi there....did your friend have children by any chance...sounds like it was playing on your mind as to what would happen to your children if anything happened to you, and it used your fear of a housefire as the setting...rarely do our dreams portray actual life, its our brains way of working through problems or traumas we face, relax and put it to the back of your mind and if it makes you feel safer, put new batteries in your smoke alarm...i hope you are getting over the loss of your friend ok...

Whole thread for the following message:

Posted by tinks30 6 June  at  20:02

A few nights ago i had this dream that the flats where i live were on fire my kids and my self watched
untill it came up close to our home then in stead of leaving we started packing then my kids kept changing there clothes by the time we decided to leave our house was on fire quite a bit the exit was like an inferno and i kept telling my kids that we need to run as dad( my partner) was waiting for us.
the day before my dream i buried a close friend (nothing to do with a fire)she was only 28 could this have something to do with my dream or would it be something else please help this is really playing on my mind

Hi there,
