Everyone feels like that - but all a baby really needs is love - and you will love it, if not immediately its born, very soon after.
Its natural to feel you won't be able to cope - but you will.

Hi there,
Not sure what to do, really need some advice.
I am currently pregnant about 36 weeks but really feeling like i cant bring up this baby.
I have had these feelings since I was about 20 weeks but just couldnt bring myself to have a abortion.
I am just feeling so panicy about it all and have been considering adoption for some months now. I feel so guilty and down and know that a baby deserves so much more, than what my partner and I can offer it right now.
I dont really know who to go to, to talk it all through. Would my GP be able to help and has anyone else put their child up for adoption?
Please reply back, F x

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I just feel so selfish even thinking like this. What you said is very reassuring, and I really hope I can cope.
I have been to the doctors since and am now on anti-depressants which should help me feel better about things. Fingers crosssed!
