1. What is a profile? Creating a profile is a great way of making friends and being a part of the soFeminine online community! Your profile is in two sections: personal details (age, photo and interests), and information about your activities on soFeminine, like links to blogs and albums you have created and messages you have posted on the discussion boards, so it's easy to find other readers with similar interests to you. As a security measure, other people will only be able to read your personal details once you have created your profile. You can also change the information that other members can see at any time. The private message function allows you to send messages to other members who also use it.
2. What's the difference between a profile and the personal details I entered when I registered? Your profile is what other members will be able to read about you. You can be more creative with it, so let your personality shine through, by adding a photo or a few sentences about yourself!
3. Reading profiles : Seeing your profile couldn't be easier. You have two choices: - Click on a member's username in the forum, their album or their blog. - Search all profiles.
4. Creating and managing your profile : You can create a profile by clicking on "Make changes to my profile" in the left-hand column. Your profile is automatically created with your username, you just need to enter your details and choose which information you want to be visible to other readers, by ticking the boxes on the left. After editing, your album may in some circumstances be further edited by one of our moderators before being put back on line, so you may need to wait a little...
5. Searching Profiles : The search function allows you to search all soFeminine profiles on different criteria, like whether they have posted a blog or album, or on their personal information, like age, sex and interests. Once you find a member you want to get to know better, you can send them a message.
6. Deleting your profile & blocking private messages : You can stop your personal information from being given out to others in your profile, at any time, by clocking on “Options” in the left-hand column: -You can take your profile off-line, which means that only your soFeminine activity will be visible, like blogs and albums you have created - You can choose not to receive messages from other members, and/or not to be alerted by when you have received a message (by email or on-screen message). You can change your mind at any point by changing your options.
7. Terms & Conditions : Never use offensive or inappropriate images in your profile. You should also make sure that you hold the rights to the information you use, i.e. do not use unauthorised photos, or photos belonging to anybody else. Finally, by sending us your information, you authorise soFeminine.co.uk to publish your profile and use it freely.
